smoothie bike and child's bike being checked

Local housebuilder Crest Nicholson has shown support for sustainable travel,  donating high-vis vests and kids colouring packs for an event held at its Perrybrook development in Brockworth, Gloucester.

The event, organised by Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership, offered attendees a free bike safety check, security marking, and a high-vis vest. Visitors also enjoyed a chance to have a go on the ‘smoothie bike’ whilst getting expert advice on rail and sustainable travel in the local area.

Clare Brimble, Sales & Marketing Director for Crest Nicholson South West said:

“It was a pleasure to be able to donate high-vis jackets and kids colouring packs to this fantastic event. Our thanks goes to Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership for organising  and helping our Perrybrook community find out more about sustainable travel and making cycling safer.”

Nicole Archer, Events Manager at Gloucestershire Community Rail Partnership commented: "Connecting with residents at Perrybrook was a fantastic opportunity to hear their views on local sustainable transport. We enjoyed discussing the ways people move around, the barriers they face, and how we can support positive change. It’s great to see how much people enjoy living in this community, and we look forward to continuing these important conversations."
