Local housebuilder Crest Nicholson has partnered with charity Next Link this Christmas to support families supported by the charity, living in their safe houses across Bristol and Gloucester.

Over the past few weeks staff, contractors, and customers at Crest Nicholson’s Brooklands Park development, and across the South West division, have collectively donated hundreds of gifts which will be distributed in time for Christmas to the women and children staying in a Next Link safe house over the festive period.

Clare Brimble, Sales & Marketing Director for Crest Nicholson South West said:

“Tragically, in England, two women are killed every week by a partner or ex-partner, which is why Next Link safe houses are such a vital refuge for women escaping domestic violence.

I am deeply touched by the remarkable generosity of so many people at Crest Nicholson and beyond, who have donated gifts to bring a little joy to the women and children in these safe houses this Christmas."

Zoe Cook, Senior Safe house support worker, Next Link said:

“I would like to express my thanks to Crest Nicholson for organising and supporting our Christmas appeal. Many children have asked if Santa will forget them this year because they’re not at home, but thanks to your generosity, every family in our refuges will wake up on Christmas morning with a gift.

We cannot thank you enough for your support which will bring smiles during what can often be a challenging and emotional time for them.”
