Local housebuilder Crest Nicholson hosted a community walking event at its Highbrook View and Brooklands Park developments in Stoke Gifford, inviting local residents to come together, stretch their legs and enjoy the fresh summer air.

Last week, on Wednesday 19th July, Crest Nicholson invited residents of the development and other locals in the community to join a two mile walk, beginning at the Brooklands Park Sales Suite and heading around the surrounding area.

Crest Nicholson hosted the walk to encourage residents to get active and experience the healthy lifestyle amenities available to them at Highbrook View and Brooklands Park. The event also allowed residents to better know their neighbours and also see some of the best walking routes the area has to offer.

Clare Brimble, Sales and Marketing Director at Crest Nicholson South West, said: “At Crest Nicholson we are always looking for new and fun ways to bring the community at Stoke Gifford together, help residents get settled into their new home, and give them a chance to explore amenities or facilities they might not have known were available to them. We were pleased to host this successful event for local families, their relatives, and friends.

“Highbrook View and Brooklands Park are both surrounded by large areas of open spaces, with plenty of walking routes around the development, perfect for those seeking an active and healthy lifestyle. It was fantastic to see so many neighbours get together, and we hope the community walk becomes a new tradition in Stoke Gifford.”

Crest Nicholson’s Highbrook View and Brooklands Park developments have a selection of one, two, three, four and five bedroom homes available to buy. The homes within the two Stoke Gifford developments provide a relaxing semi-rural environment for residents, ideal for walking enthusiasts with many options for long walks around the calming open space around them, providing a serene escape from the neighbouring busy cities including Bristol and Bath.

The development is located in a well-connected area of Stoke Gifford and only a short 12 minute walk from Bristol Parkway Station. Making the development perfect for commuters with trains to Paddington in just over an hour, whilst also being located out of the city centre.
